WWF Wrestling : British Bulldogs
|
British Bulldogs Davey boy Smith and Tom Billington..aka the 'Dynamite Kid'.
Fuck me ...shocking stuff.
Tom Billington is an interesting character..still alive..just..at 59!
His family are a family of executioners. ..literally.
I grew up watching these cunts.like ravishing Rick Rude and jake the snake..all fucked or brown bread a lot of em.
Brutal game it seems for staged entertainment

I'm pretty sure the Shockmaster was Tugboat/Typhoon, not British Bulldog.

Just re-reading my post and I just wnt to make it very clear that, notwithstanding what I said, Benoit was a vile wife-abusing, child-killing murderer.

Lots of misery, directly/indirectly came out of the Hart family "Dungeon."
A bit of my childhood was watching Stampede Wrestling on a Saturday afternoon on our black and white TV but hard not feel bad for how many of those lives are shredded now.

Benoit idolised Dynamite and his signature 'diving headbutt' finish was a conscious homage to Billington and must surely have contributed to his having the brain of an 85 year old man when he died.
So you can blame Dynamite (indirectly) and steroids (very directly) for the tragic deaths of Benoit's family, too.

Pardon the bump, but didn't think starting a new thread on WWE/wrestling would interest that many.
For those that are interested tonights Raw is the 25th anniversary show with loads of old boys making an appearance. Stone Cold, Undertaker, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, The Dudleys. Wouldn't be surprised to see The Rock make a surprise "return" as well.
The Royal Rumble is on Sunday night as well, can expect a few old faces to show up in that as well.
Yes I have kissed a girl.

Went to the first Summerslam staged at Wmbley, sell out crowd and a great atmosphere, what a night that was. Davey Boy was wrestling, Bret Hart, Bushwackers, Undertaker, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Legion of Doom. Think The Rockers and Hart Foundation (Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart) wrestled as well but might be wrong. Those were the days

I'm off to the Manchester Arena next week for Monday Night Raw.
Obviously just for my 8 year old boys benefit. I'm not at all interested in seeing the big red machine or the Olympic champion Kurt Angle back on the red brand

I am amazed at how many people are into it and how it transitions into mainstream culture, especially our culture. As an example, the wrestlers visiting the club, including Triple H telling everyone "'es West 'Am" and doing his best crossed hammers pose.
I wasn't at the game, but didn't 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin turn up at Upton Park and asked the crowed to give him a "Hell Yeah" to utter indifference? He was my favourite wrestler and it was interesting to know his ex wife is an Essex bird and his two daughters were brought up in Southend.
Lastly and going back to my original point, my best mate loves at and laps it up to this day even though we're in our early 30s. The blokes no dunce either, he's a sports journalist and doing well. The kicker is, he's out in Philadelphia in January to cover it and he's er, taking me along to!
I've never seen a big live wrestling event, so I'll enjoy it for what it is.

hardwood, Ramon is also in the documentary. try and have a look at it if you can. a lot of cunts attacked Diamond saying he was using the film to promote his business, all I saw was a bloke trying to help his mates

Was the best night on TV when this was on in the 80's and the only day my parents let me stay up late on a school day.
The equaliser followed by the Wrestling on ITV.
Wild Stallions, were they another tag team around at the time?
Good times and the best years for wrestling.

dolph, there's a good one on Netflix called The Resurrection Of Jake The Snake. Jake got in a bad way after retirement with various substances and the film is about Diamond Dallas Page helping him to get his life back on track. I enjoyed it
